If you send us your archive details or ask to be told when the uploader is released, we hold the email address you gave us and whatever you chose to write in the message. That is the whole of it.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. Nothing follows you from here to anywhere else.

To reply to you, and to tell you when the thing you asked about exists. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone else, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.

In a database run by Supabase, and in our email at Zoho. Both are third parties operating on our instructions, and both hold data outside the country you are probably reading this in.

Until you ask us to remove it, or until it stops being of any use — whichever is sooner. An enquiry that went nowhere is deleted after two years.

Email legal@rightscleared.com and say so. We will delete it and confirm that we have. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to explain who you are beyond enough for us to find the record.

We are not accepting footage yet. When we do, footage will routinely contain people who never agreed to anything — customers, bystanders, passers-by — and handling that properly is the single most consequential thing on this site.

Our stated method is that faces are detected and masked before any person or model at RightsCleared looks at a frame, and that staff appearing deliberately require a signed release. That method is described on the rights and compliance page. This notice will set out the legal basis for it in full, reviewed by a lawyer, before a single hour is accepted.
